Are you looking to learn a New Language for Travel, Conversation or just a Bucket List Dream? The Grand Language is a Charter Club, and we are always seeking to recruit new members. We currently offer Spanish, French, Italian, German and ASL (American Sign Language). New classes typically start in October, however new members are welcome to join anytime. If you have an interest in participating, join us in the Ocotillo Building. You can attend three classes to "check it out" before registering and joining. The specific Language Club Meeting days and times are available to view on: grandlanguageclub.com. Currently Italian and Spanish classes meet through the summer. Come join us, have fun, and learn something new.
Enrollment for Language Classes and Language Club begins October 1, 2025. The fee for the Language classes is $20 a year; and includes 5 Language classes. You may take 1 or 5 classes for $20. The fee also enrolls you in the Language Club. All classes are held in the Ocotillo Room

Our Mission
On weekdays, the Grand Language Club offers classroom
instruction in five foreign languages and American Sign Language
in the Ocotillo Building at Sonoran Plaza. Our instructors are
professional and fluent in the language they teach. Our mission is
to offer all levels of instruction from absolute beginners to those
who are conversational in a language. We welcome those who
plan a trip to a foreign country and want to learn about local
customs and the fundamentals of the language. We seek to
provide an easy learning environment that allows each student to
proceed at his or her pace while making new friends and enjoying
group social events outside the classroom. The Deaf group is a
Special Interest Group in the Language Club.
Only Grand residents with a valid CAM card may take classes.
Dues are $20 per year and entitle club members to take as many
classes/languages as they wish.
